design + technology

"Topographies of Artificial Desire," a collaboration with Paulus van Horne, questions AI's understanding of human language and emotion. It features a chatbot trained on love letters, creating a space for players to interact with and reflect on the 'black box' of AI technology. This interactive game showcases how AI processes language, challenging the notion of its inherent intelligence and revealing its limitations. It encourages public discourse on AI's role in society, inviting players to engage directly with the technology in a communal setting.

This project recieved the generous support of NEST Studio at CU Boulder. In conjunction with Denver Digerati, the work was installed at Evans School Denver in February, 2023.
